How To Transcribe Any Whatsapp Voice Note With An App Called Descript?
Are you struggling to listen to voice notes in your target language? This blog post will teach you how to convert any audio into a clear transcription.
WhatsApp's recent feature allows you to transcribe voice notes. This has become a useful feature that avoids playing audio in public but also transcribe if the voice note is still unclear for you in your target language.
In this short blog, I'll teach you how to go the extra mile and transcribe it with a software called Descript which has a more accurate desktop interface that creates a transcription that lets you read along to the audio.

Tap the Share button and AirDrop it to your Macbook.
For Android devices, send it to your Google Drive and download it.
Open Descript and open a new Audio Project and select the audio.
Select the target language and wait for it to load.

Conclusion
WhatsApp's transcription feature is more than enough, but it skips words and lines that other transcription services only offer with their paid version.
Although the app is only available on desktops, the accuracy is by far the best you can get to avoid paying for sketchy online transcription websites that barely allow you to transcribe 1-2 files per month.
With Descript you can transcribe 4 hours of audio and videos that you can transcribe per month for free!
